Connecting to Wi-Fi with a personnal router

You can use a personal Wi-Fi router, however a change in its configuration will be required for it to work on our network.

If the configuration of your router is not adapted, an error message will inform you that you cannot access our network.

Depending on the model, you will have to configure it in Bridge or Access Point mode.
If your router does not have these modes, you must follow the following procedure:

  • go to the interface of your router
  • disable the DHCP server
  • save the changes
  • reboot your router
  • move the Ethernet cable from the WAN (internet) port to one of the LAN ports on your router
