Connecting multiple devices to the Quantic Telecom network

Our subscriptions allow for wired internet access (via RJ-45 Ethernet cable).

If you want to connect multiple devices to our network, you need a Wi-Fi access point (wireless) or an Ethernet switch (network strip).

To do so, you can use our QuanticBox (at a price of 30€ + 8€ shipping costs) or a router from a third party vendor (a configuration modification will be necessary - see "Connecting with a third party router" ).

WARNING: The quality of the Wi-Fi connection depends on the router environment.

Wi-Fi uses radio frequencies that can be subject to interference in the home, due to the large number of routers present and their simultaneous use (for videoconferencing, for example).

It is advisable to use the wired connection for your computer, by connecting it to one of the LAN ports of your router, and to keep the Wi-Fi connection for your other devices (phone, tablet, ...).

For computers without an RJ-45 port, you can use a USB-Ethernet adapter, available in stores or online.
